A recent walk to the local hills… I’ve been coming to this place since I could walk. On this occasion, I ventured in a direction I hadn’t been in years. The scent of Scots Pine and shapeshifting clouds accompanied the stiff breeze that ran through drifting grasses. Heathers trembled, in a sweep of purple, as a sloping path led to a view that went on for miles. And there were enough trees and open skyscape to make me a very happy wanderer. Here’s a few pictures I took while there…
I’ve switched focus recently to organising some things in the community for 2020 and creating a system that aligns with the National Curriculum (I’m home educating KS3). My operation earlier this year, the recovery and hot Summer that followed, stalled gardening progress. I’ve a much simpler plan, so this week I’ve been pruning trees and shrubs to encourage growth with some and make lighter work for the year ahead. My focus can then turn more to the allotment!
Whatever you’re up to, hope you’re having a great week. Enjoy the sunshine 🙂
