Dig In

Here is another extract that is part of a larger collection, I hope you enjoy it:

“Days spent in words and nature. Writing at tables or curled into chairs. Leaves unfurl, flowers bloom and pens run out. Comes the morning and the sun. Words and weeds are dug. This is where magic happens. Plot twists and new shoots. The wild green and spark of ideas. Exhaustion and elation zing. This is where work happens. It is marvellous and arduous from page to soil. The work IS the magic. I pick up a tool and dig in.”

I’ll be writing more about creativity and nature – subscribe if that interests you.
